This two-week special engagement opens Saturday, October 18, 2008 at the Artist reception from 7:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. The exhibit is free, open to the public and suitable for all ages.


Forty-percent (40%) of proceeds from select photographs to benefit the Kamina Orphanage, Democratic Republic of Congo a 501(c)(3) non-profit under the United Methodist Churches.


Artist Talk and slide show presentation will be presented Saturday, October 25, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. RSVP required. Space is limited. Please call [614] 893-2199.

The watch parties are a part of the group’s A New Day Begun project. Obama and McCain are scheduled for three debates with the first occurring this Friday. The dates and times for the watch parties are:

Fri., Sept. 26 @ The ICON Lounge

Tue., Oct. 7th @ The After Five Lounge

Wed. Oct. 15th @ The Hale Center on OSU’s Campus

Each event will start at 7:30 PM and begin with an hour-long reception to be followed by a brief program that will include a facilitated discussion. Also, important voter information will be discussed and distributed at the watch parties. The nights will end by watching the presidential debates between Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain, which will be broadcast at 9:00pm.

This will be an informational session for those that wish to volunteer in BDPA’s 2008 - 2009 High School Computer Competition. This year’s team will be lead by Andre Young. Andre is a VP at JP Morgan Chase and has been affiliated with BDPA for a long time and is a great organizer. He is committed to taking the program to the level that it needs to be. He has internal contacts at the school system and insight into other resources.
